Norma Jean Ogle – Executive Director

Norma Ogle has been in the accounting profession for over 40 years. She ran a successful accounting practice with her beloved friend Lonnie Cato for over 25 years until his death in 2000. She joined the Georgia Association of Accountants and Tax Professionals in 1975 and the National Society of Accountants in 1977. She has served on various committees with both organizations as well as speaking on their behalves on numerous occasions. She is a co-founder of the Low Country Tax Release, Past President of GAATP and currently serves as the Executive Director of GAATP; a position she has held since 1996.

With NSA, Norma has serves as chair of their ASRC Committee, Chair of their Membership Committee and was President the Scholarship Foundation. She won the State Director of the Year from NSA in 1997 and NSA’s coveted Accountant of Year in 2003.

Norma enjoys the time she spends with her family including her first great-grandchild, Emma.
